GIMP 2.2.16: graphic editor

A new version of the popular in Linux environment free program GIMP meant for image editing has been released. Using GIMP you can perform such tasks as handling photographs, creating collages, copy protection, etc. The program supports working with the channel and layers, alpha channel, editable text layers, has many tools for painting. The program can also be used as a convenient tool for package files conversion.
GIMPâ€™s functionality can be expanded, employing additional modules, the number of which is more than a hundred. The latest version of the program has no innovations, but many errors have been fixed, thus enhancing the stability of its work. Although the program was initially developed for Linux, it is also available for Windows and Mac platforms.
