Google Desktop is released for Linux

A popular program for local search Google Desktop now is finally available for Linux. Earlier with the free program the owners of Windows and Mac OS X could work. Like the version for Mac, Google Desktop for Linux is released under the brand of beta-release.
There`s no Sidebar known for users of Windows and support for gadgets - small applications, designed to check mail, to display weather forecast, the latest news and other information on the desktop.
Google Desktop for Linux works with Debian 4.0, Fedora Core 6, Ubuntu 6.10, SUSE 10.1 and Red Flag 5. the program is available in several languages.
