In November, representatives of Windows Essential Server Solutions line will appear On 12th of November, Microsoft plans to release a new server system for middle-sized businesses, as well as the system for small businesses. Windows Essential Business Server 2008 (EBS 2008) and Windows Small Business Server 2008 (SBS 2008) will appear closer to mid-November, this was said at the World partners conference. Dell and Wortmann will be among the first companies offering systems pre-installed on ready-made computer solutions. SBS 2008 â€œCougarâ€ and EBS 2008 â€œCentroâ€ are the representatives of a new line of Windows Essential Server Solutions. This line combines all the necessary tooling along with the simplicity of installation and use, as when developing these server systems Microsoft considered the limitations in technical staff. SBS 2008 contains Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. Also they included Office Live Small Business service and 120-days trial version of Forefront Security for Exchange and Windows Live OneCare for Server. Premium version offers additional Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008. EBS includes 3 copies of Windows Server 2008 for three servers â€“ the overall management, mail management (Exchange Server 2007 Standard Edition) and security (Forefront Security for Exchange Server and Forefront Threat Management Gateway). Premium version is complemented with the fourth license for SQL Server 2008.
