Internet Explorer: remaining popular

While Mozilla is updating Firefox, and Apple releasing Safari, Internet Explorer keeps remaining on the top of popularity rating among browsers. Recently, Market Share by Net Applications has issued a study of the market positions among browsers for June.
78.84% is the result showing absolute leadership of Internet Explorer. Users do not even think to turn down Microsoft's browser, the May result of which was 78.67%. And even if demand for Internet Explorer keeps unabated, open-source browser Firefox is getting stronger meanwhile. Compared to May the increase was 0.01%, in total - 14.55%. For Firefox it is quite good rates, since April the number of users of this browser immediately fell by 1%. The situation of Apple Safari is no better. Despite downloading beta version of Safari for Windows for the first 48 hours after the release was about 1 million times, the rating of Safari by the end of June fell from 4.82% to 4.49%. Users of Opera can be proud of their browser. Its rating rose from 0.74% to 0.91%. According to the researchers, there is a tendency among users to seek alternatives to IE, which could serve as a start point to increasing the number of Opera fans.
