Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus 2008: beta versions

Symantec began beta testing of its products, line 2008: Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus. Despite the title, both will go on sale this year, but the company decided to involve testers to trap errors before the release.
The main innovation of the new line is SONAR technology (Symantec Online Network for Advanced Response), which helps to prevent infection by unknown malicious computer code, analyzing not known modules but programs activity. SONAR is based on the technology, which the antivirus company received after buying WholeSecurity in 2005. Among other innovations of Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus 2008: improved performance and a simpler installation for home users.
