Sybase PowerDesigner 12.5: tools for building and updating business applications

Sybase has announced the availability of Sybase PowerDesigner 12.5, a universal environment for modelling and design that will meet the needs of modern organizations for tools to construct or update business applications quickly, with quality and cost-free.
Supporting more than 60 major DBMS and wide-spread development environment (including Sybase Workspace, Sybase PowerBuilder, Java, Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio), the proposed solution provides advanced features for modeling business processes and support of the language UML.
The latest version of Sybase PowerDesigner has a feature of using metadata from corporate ETL-solutions in building models of databases. Among other realized innovations it is worth while mentioning full support of UML 2.0 and simplified procedure of migration from the platform CA ERwin.
