Truecrypt 6 - encryption of files and disks

A new version of product Truecrypt 6 has been released. It is popular in all other the world open software for encrypting hard drives and their individual sections. It should be noted separately that Truecrypt 6 was released just in six months after the release of the previous version. One of the most remarkable improvements is the support for multiprocessor systems, which allows you to improve operations performance of data encryption and decryption proportionally to the number of processor cores. Other changes guarantee the improvement of the common software performance for at least 20 %. Truecrypt 6 allows you to encrypt and hide the whole operating system, which is after the completion of the procedure canâ€™t be found on the hard disk of a PC. The product also allows you to hide separate disc volumes of foreign eye, and the users of operating systems Vista and Windows 2008 have a unique opportunity to hide system partitions (unfortunately, for XP platform this feature is not available).
