Visual Studio Team Foundation Server - Project Server 2007 Connector has been released

They released the first edition of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server - Project Server 2007 Connector, the main task of which is to ensure close integration between two popular platforms, Codeplex.com reports.
The solutions Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server are widely distributed to organizations, which work on megaprojects. The first allows managers to coordinate the work of specialists, to manage processes and to regulate the distribution of work tasks, and the second is designed for professional developers and offers all the necessary for the design, development, testing and debugging of projects. The proposed connector is responsible for coupled synchronization of data on projects, resources and tasks between two platforms. Specialists in each category (managers and developers) will be able to continue to work familiar and habitual surroundings. And all the data, necessary for the effective management of projects, will be automatically transferred from one system to another. For example, all updates included to the project in TFS environment, are automatically appeared in appropriate task lists in Project Server, and vice versa.
