Australia Ban Obtained By Sony On PS3 Hack Chip

According to a recent report, Sony has got success, in terms of winning a temporary ban, which will now restrict the distributors of Australia, in terms of selling the hardware, which is a hack for its PS3. This dongle, which is known by the name of PS3Jailbreak, is designed in a way, so that the gamers are allowed to play pirated and homemade games on the console. And the ban, which Sony has just won, is going to put restrictions over the selling, importing and distributing the device. And this ban is imposed on Mod Supplier, OzModChips and Quantronics.
Till 31st August, the firm has time and a chance of taking its case to the court, in order to get permission for permanent ban. And if the firm does not get success, then there are many chances that this chip would go on sale in the markets on 1st September, which is going to be a big setback for Sony.
Sony has refused to comment on this issue and its proceedings. The dongle, which is named as, PS3Jailbreak is a device, which contains software that allows the gamers to download homemade and pirated games on the hard drive of their game console.
