Call of Duty World at War: developers give new details

Journalists from Play.tm talked with the specialists of Treyarch, who spoke about their future game Call of Duty World at War.
According to the authors, they started working on the project immediately after releasing Call of Duty 3 in November 2006. Long enough time of development and technologies of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare allowed specialists to do their best and optimize the game for work under different platforms. Treyarch is working closely with Infinity Ward.
The developers also point out that they tried to make the virtual world as interactive and destroyable as possible. You can shaft walls, smoke opponents out of the bunker, burn tanks, etc.
Much attention was paid to multi-player, including the cooperative.
