Check Point Software Technologies has announced the release of their new software, called VPN-1 Virtual Edition (VE), designed to protect virtual applications on the level of traditional network applications.
At releasing VPN-1 VE the company Check Point offered customers for the first time
unified protection of both physical networks and virtual applications. Virtualization of multiple servers within a single device
creates a totally new type of working environment that requires new approaches to
protection of separated from each other applications and information arrays without
use of physical protection systems. VPN-1 VE system keeps separateness and security of applications on the same level as if they
were located in different physical servers. Among other things, the system VPN-1 VE
is fully integrated with the main protective enterprise infrastructure, based on the Check Point solutions.
