The draft National Strategy for the Trusted Identities of the cyberspace of the federal government or the NSTIC has outlined one strategy which is used for creating an identity ecosystem which would be allowing the public to make the purchases of the credit card, file taxes, retrieve medical records and also to conduct all manner of the business in an online manner with the help of a portable and secure sort of electronic identity. The users would also be able to complete all of these transactions with the help of a minimal exchange of their personal information. A service provider would be leveraged from the identification as well as the authentication which was previously done by the businesses that were like mind. The transactions could also be made with the help of the cell phones due to all of the parties that are involved would be having their digital identities that are authenticated by an authoritative third party of their choice. The document of the NSTIC has outlined a plan step by step for the sake of establishing as well as cultivating the identity ecosystem.
In the support of this particular effort, the security and IT pros of the government would be called for the sake of establishing a trusted infrastructure of the identity in their agencies and for tying those systems into their ecosystem.
