DAZ Studio 1.7: free program for 3D- animation

DAZ Productions, a well-known producer of 3D- models, has released an updated version of DAZ Studio 1.7. This is a program for creating 3D-animation on the basis of ready-made models and libraries, including clothing items, the environment, etc. Among the new capabilities:
Customizable workspace;
Grouping tools with tabs;
Power Pose Tool for setting inverse kinematics;
A tool for deformation of D-Form surfaces (previously available as a plug-in only);
The program DAZ Studio is free, but models for it are distributed on a commercial basis.
