Fresh 3Par Offer By Hewlett Packard Has Trumped Dell Again
31st August 2010
An increase in Hewlett Packard's bid is seen in the battle with the firm's rival Dell, in order to take control of the firm called 3Par, which is a data storage company. HP has given an offer of $1.8 billion. This move of HP has just come after the time, when Dell agreed upon taking over 3Par, when its bid matched HP's earlier one, which was $1.6 billion.
On the other hand, HP has said that it is in a better condition and state, in order to take over 3Pal, as compared to Dell. Now the observers are really looking forward to see the next step, which Dell would take, in order to match up the bid of HP. A spokesperson of HP has said that the firm is expecting to get this deal finalized by the end of this year.
Dave Donatelli of HP has said that not only the offer of his firm is better than Dell, but the combination of numbers of synergies between the two firms is also far better and attractive than the offers made any Dell. On the other hand, Dell believes that its offer would help in accelerating the revenues and profits of 3Pal.
