A new version of the landscapes generator Grome has been released. The program can be used to create scenery for games, backgrounds for video, etc. It supports work with layers and creation of 3D landscapes using a variety of fractal algorithms and also models adding of erosion.
Already made elements can be refined using brushes with user-regulated press force, also, masks can be used. In addition, the program has a feature of cloning objects and their adherence to a particular part of the surface, due to which they react to changes in the surface. Grome supports the format of COLLADA which enables integration with 3D- editors 3ds Max, Maya and XSI.
The latest version includes a new library of 200 mountain surfaces. In addition, the system of manual relief refining has been improved.
