Intel XML Software Suite: unprecedented speed of XML processing

The company Intel has released a new set of programs and components for processing data in the XML format named Intel XML Software Suite. According to the results of comparative tests conducted with the help of a free utility XML Benchmark Tool, the new Intel product is greatly ahead of such famous competitors as packages Apache Xerces and Apache Xalan.
The package Intel XML Software Suite includes a few key tools for syntactic parsing XML (Intel XML Parsing Accelerator), for checking XML-schemes (Intel XML Schema Accelerator), XML conversion (Intel XSLT Accelerator) and for navigation using expressions in the format XPath (Intel XPath Accelerator).
At the moment being, there are versions of the toolset Intel XML Software Suite for all types of hardware platforms of the type IA-32 and IA-64, including a version for Windows and Linux, as well as for systems HP-UX based on multi-core processors Intel Itanium.
