TVs started their journey with Cathode Ray Tubes and initially came with no color support. Then first came the colors and then after a long while the technology was shifted from the cathode ray tube to the LCD which means Liquid Crystal Display. Just when you thought that this was the best quality in terms of picture and sound, LED TVs came out.

To explain why an LED TV has better picture quality, imagine that you have a traffic signal light. Now if the traffic signal light was made up of small simple LEDs then they can be seen with clarity from far away compared to the old ones that had one big light source. An LED TV consists of millions of such small LED each contributing to bring the best quality picture.

Though LED TVs seem to be the end to the TV technology yet I am sure that sooner or later a better product will be among us.
