MathType 6 for Macintosh: editor of formulas and equations

The company Design Science has announced the release of the formula editor MathType 6 for Macintosh.
The new version supports the operating system Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and Microsoft Office 2008. MathType is a unique tool of a strongest demand among students, scientists, engineers and publishers. The program will facilitate the preparation of scientific works and documentation, allowing the use of hundreds of mathematical and technical characters when typing text in different applications, as well as allowing to add formulas and equations to documents created.
The improvements implemented include an expanded support of the systems TeX / LaTeX, as well as the possibility of copying equations from the “Wikipedia” articles and the use of special characters for writing such articles.
MathType 6 for Macintosh is a universal application, which can run under computers PowerPC and Intel Mac.
