Mozilla released students edition of Firefox

Mozilla has released a special version of Firefox designed for students. Firefox Campus Edition includes version 2.0.0.6 and three special additions to make students` Internet surfing more comfortable. The first extension was FoxyTunes. It is designed to manage multimedia player straight in your browser window. It is compatible with Windows Media Player, Winamp, iTunes, Media Player Classic and several other players for Windows and Linux. The second addition includes Zotero, a tool of search, saving and quoting various resources in the Internet.
The latest extension was StumbleUpon, a social plugin, advising to visit interesting, from StumbleUpon community`s point of view, sites. Here you can give your own recommendations on favorite portals. The purpose of the special edition of the Mozilla Firefox was the willing to extend the browser`s popularity with students by means of adapting it to their needs. Mozilla is working closely with the students and has its own student volunteer program Firefox Campus Rep. Meanwhile, the popularity of Firefox is growing day in day out. According to OneStat.com, to the last month the global browser`s share has risen to 12.72%, by 1.03% since January. Top popularity of Firefox is registered in the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy and Belgium.
