Pidgin 2.10: famous IM messenger

A new version of the popular open source client for instant messaging Pidgin has been released. It was formerly known as Gaim, but had to change its name as a result of pressure from AOL.
Pidgin is one of the most famous IM messengers for Linux, which is available for Windows as well. Gaim allows working with different protocols. The second version of the program has been almost completely rewritten. Thus, in Gaim 2 you can see fully updated status system, the updated scrolling. In addition, features of file transferring through protocols AIM and ICQ have been improved, added support of Apple Bonjour.
Version 2.1 was added with support of logs QIP, displaying blank panels in the contacts list, saving images in logs, the function “cancel” in the dialog box, support of working areas, a new windows manager Irssi.
