Many of us at one point or the other have faced the situation where one has to choose from two of the leading brands of that industry. These scenarios are most common in the electronics world since many companies compete to be the leader in the market. In this article we will be discussing about the touch screen mobiles that both Nokia and Samsung have to offer.

Touch screen which was once considered a fancy that only a few people could afford has now become pretty much affordable for all. Both Nokia and Samsung have launched many new handsets that are not only cheap but also have many good features that many expensive phones have to offer.

Here we will compare the Samsung Star 5230 and Nokia 5233 handsets. Both have the same affordable price range. Lets first start with the operating system, Nokia comes with a Symbian OS, where as Samsung Star is not a smart phone. The next thing is the camera; Samsung offers a camera of 3.15 MP whereas the Nokia phone offers a camera of 2 MP. Star has Wi-Fi whereas the Nokia phone has no Wi-Fi.

All in all, though Samsung offer much more features as compared to the Nokia 5233 yet the Nokia phone is recommended because of the many applications that are available on the OVI store plus the overall good brand name of Nokia that are well known for their customer satisfaction.
