SIGGRAPH 2007, LightWave 9.3: update of 3D editor

The NewTek Company, which also exhibits its products at SIGGRAPH 2007, has announced the availability of the update for LightWave 9.3. Among key features of this release there are photorealistic effect of the blurred moving and two new shaders for imitating undersurface dispersion â€“ all these working much more quickly comparing those of earlier versions, and providing better quality. Also LightWave package for applications developers (SDK) and scripting language have been improved, increased performance on the whole.
Upgrading to Version 9.3 is already available and free for all registered users. Before October 1, NewTek also offers new users to buy its products LightWave and video editor SpeedEDIT together, at a lower price, saving about $ 500.
SpeedEDIT, the first version of which came out in the beginning of the year, differs form other editors by allowing within one project to work with images in different resolution, frames frequency, etc. SpeedEDIT supports all modern video formats, including HD and SD. Moreover, the frames in these two formats can be combined in real time.
