Dell and Intel have made a contract for the computer maker rebates. Not only that, but they had paid for it. But the agreement use to include a clause that there would be no usage of microchips which are being manufactured by Intel's rival AMD. The real problem which messed up the whole situation was that Dell pretended to its investors that these payments are known to be the operating income and that would abet Dell in getting a higher Wall Street's earnings in this year. But when Federal Trade Commission antitrust investigation was being made in this aspect then antitrust suit was declared.
