World of Warcraft`s success secrets

A chief designer of the world game World of Warcraft, Jeffrey Kaplan, said that he does not consider WoW irresistible. He believes that more successful MMO-project can be created. The specialist hopes that Blizzard is working on precisely such a product.
Kaplan honestly confessed that he is sorry for unfortunate colleagues who produce MMOG after MMOG only for the latter to fail. He has known this situation in his life.
A chief designer of Diablo 3, Jay Wilson believes that failures of many projects in this genre can be attributed to the fact that people can not play simultaneously several MMORPGs. In his point of view, the developers of such entertainment do not need to try to stand out and should just make good games.
A PR manager of Blizzard, Bob Colayco, thinks that one of the key success factors of WoW is the availability of time to create a strong infrastructure to support a huge number of players. It is exactly these “trifles” that help the company to succeed in capturing more and more regions.
