Autodesk expands video editing programsâ€™ functionality

The company Autodesk Inc. has reported on the coming up releasing extensions for their programs designed to create visual effects and video editing. Thus, the updates are available for editing system Autodesk Smoke 2009, as well as for systems to create effects Autodesk Inferno 2009, Autodesk Flame 2009 and Autodesk Flint 2009.
These solutions were used to create a large number of projects, including â€œSpider-Man -3â€, â€œPirates of the Caribbean -3â€ as well as in advertising Coca-Colaâ€™s Happiness Factory . The extensions are available to users participating in the Autodesk program subscription. Among the improvements presented in Extension 1, there are than 80 new preliminary templates of effects for Inferno, Flame and Flint, an improved interface for editing in Smoke, better compatibility with Autodesk Lustre, support of new compressed formats (Apple QuickTime with alpha-channel, Panasonic P2 AVC-Intra, etc.), better support of metadata QuickTime, etcâ€¦
Expanding Extension 1 for all programs will be available in October.
