Autodesk Lustre 2008: digital color correction

The company Autodesk has announced a new version of the system for digital color correction Lustre 2008. By means of Lustre you can stylize video, edit time of the day, during which the action takes place, maintain frames continuity, etc.
The system can be used in conjunction with the programs for video editing and special effects Smoke Autodesk and Autodesk Flame. Projects created in these programs can be further developed with the assistance of Lustre, and vice versa. Data transfer takes place via client-server protocol access protocol Autodesk Wiretap.
Among the latest innovations there is support of ASC-CDL (American Society of Cinematographers' Color Decision List), a solution which can accurately determine how the color will appear on different platforms. In addition, the performance has been significantly improved when using some different effects. Acceleration occurs through the graphics adapter capabilities.
Lustre 2008 will be available this fall.
