Beta version of Opera 9.60

Opera developers team is pretty close to complete the next stage in creation of their child.
Recently, the release of the preliminary version of Opera 9.60 has taken place, which offers some new features such as RSS-preview in two columns, and Opera Link service will allow you not only to synchronize bookmarks, but also history of addresses ever typed in the address bar.
The second main novelty of Opera 9.60 is synchronizing addresses typed through Opera Link. It may seem not so very useful for users of C with a large and comfortable keyboard. Yet, the feature is sure to make happy users of mobile applications.
All other noteworthy innovations of Opera 9.60 relate to the module of working with e-mail, Opera Mail. In particular, there is a special Low Bandwidth Mode with a reduced load on the data channel. In this mode mail module can either download only headers of letters via IMAP protocol, or download no more than 100 first lines of each letter, if using POP protocol.
New features Follow (follow the letters of addressee) and Ignore (ignore letters from the recipient) will help recipients of large volumes of correspondence to quickly identify important messages and refuse to view minor letters. Another new feature called Go To Thread will allow you to display in the current window only messages relating to the current flow of correspondence and are a response to previous messages on the subject.
There is no information about the release date of Opera 9.60 so far. It is very likely that the new release date will coincide with the release of Firefox 3.1, i.e., before the end of this year.
