A new version of the free 3D-editor of open source has come out. The program has all the tools used in professional 3D- editors, so, working in Blender, you can understand basics of 3D and the principle of such program on the whole.
Among the most important improvements of this version is import of 3DS files with light sources, a more stable system of particles.
The program runs under Windows, Linux, Irix, Sun Solaris, FreeBSD and Mac OS X.
