DivX 6.7: new version of the codec

The package of popular applications for work with DivX video has been updated. The package includes a free DivX Player 6.6, a DivX Community Codec 6.7, the program Web DivX Player 1.3.1 for viewing video directly in the browser. In addition, the package includes trial versions of applications DivX Converter 6.5. (including plugin MPEG-2/DVD), designed to convert video into DivX, and codec DivX Codec Pro 6.7, available during fifteen working days. Thus, the installer is universal. It can be used free of charge for viewing video and, at purchasing a license, as a Pro version.
The new version of the codec DivX 6.7 fully supports the standard 1080. It provides the correct decoding of all video files, created previously, and also contains some additional features, such as converting files from one format to another "on the fly". The codec also has built-in tools for changing the ratio of the parties, which, for example, allows you to view 16: 9 video as 16:11 without resorting to any post-processing features of the player.
