Dreamcast celebrates its 9th birthday
18th September 2008
In the long fight against PlayStation 2 the latest console from Sega failed to become winner. Despite the obvious disadvantages, users like this remarkable machine and congratulate it on 9th birthday.
Dreamcast gave its fans a lot of really unique projects: Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure, Power Stone, Jet Grind Radio, Shenmue. Many of these games for many years identified the development of interactive entertainment. In particular, Jet Grind Radio gave us 3D graphics with cell-shading, and first quick-time events appeared in Shenmue to move then to Resident Evil 4, God of War, etc. And it is Dreamcast that was one of the first consoles to offer users network opportunities.
It is a pity that the production of Dreamcast has long been suspended.
