Embarcadero Change Manager 5.0: managing changes in databases

The Corporation Embarcadero Technologies has released a new version of the product Embarcadero Change Manager 5.0.
This tool allows administrators and database developers to effectively address the three most common tasks related to managing changes, namely: track and confirm changes in the schemes, data and configurations of DBMS. Embarcadero Change Manager is a cross-platform solution offering a common user interface to work with databases from various manufacturers. The new version provides all necessary for comparing charts, data synchronization, making up detailed records, as well as identifying problems in the work of databases caused by changes made. Change Manager can be used for comparison, monitoring and archiving configurations of numerous instances of corporate databases. One of the useful features of Change Manager 5.0 is the ability to create an â€œinstant snapshotâ€ of the database scheme. In case of problems administrators can use this snapshot to quickly identify the causes of failure and return to the original DBMS working condition.
