Far Cry 3: goes without saying?

No sooner had Ubisoft released Far Cry 2, than it became known that the company is already working on the third part of the famous shooter. At this stage they are making preparations and collect interesting ideas.
There are two possible ways of development. Either the authors transfer the action to Antarctic barren, or stay in Africa. There is an assumption that the hot continent will be saved for addons and prequels, while the main plot will be set in snows.
However, while we would not become specially happy about Far Cry 3. Still, the future of the project largely depends on how successful the sequel is. If the game does not fail in sales, the emergence of the third part will go without saying.
