A new version of the free FTP-client with open source has been released. FileZilla resumes broken downloads (if this is available on the server), has site manager with the ability to add individual folders to sites, works with firewalls, supports Drag & Drop files transferring and makes up downloads turns. The program supports SOCKS4 / 5, HTTP1.1 proxy, SFTP, secure SSL connections, GSS- authenticity and data encryption using Kerberos.
The main innovation of this release is work under several platforms. FileZilla 3 can run not only under Windows, but under Linux, *BSD, Mac OS X and others as well. The third version has been completely rewritten, so not all features available in the second version are presented in the third one. However, the developers promise to fix it pretty soon.
