First update for Chrome
23rd September 2008
The recently released by Google browser Chrome has got its first update.
The new setup numbered 0.2.152.1 fixes some problems with playing video in Flash and Silverlight. As for the time being, this update is not distributed automatically, interested users and developers can get a new version of the browser on the site Google Dev Channel.
The new browser Google Chrome has already received a nickname of “lame”, partially due to the relatively half-baked code. At the same time, in Notes to the first update the developers totally forgot to mention correcting errors in the field of security, already found in Chrome. As a result, we may assume that the updated version contains all previous vulnerabilities and only enhances functionality.
