FreeRIP 3.02: compression without loss

A new version of the simple ripper-compressor has been released. It contains built-in encoders LAME (MP3), and Ogg Vorbis, can convert already existing WAV- file into one of these formats. The program has two operation modes: single file and batch editing. During the ripping or compression you can set the volume level. FreeRIP supports online freedb database and automatic tags filling, thus, if connected to the Internet, all data on the album title, artist name and tracks can be filled in automatically. The program supports more than 25 languages.
Since this version, the program is distributed in two versions: free and commercial. Paid version differs by the mode of faster ripping and conversion, as well as the opportunity to run several copies of the program simultaneously.
