GFI MailArchiver 6 for Exchange: faster and more transparent to users
15th September 2008
The company GFI has introduced a new version of its solution for administration and archiving e-mails in enterprises. GFI MailArchiver 6 for Exchange integrates with Outlook, thus, helping to ensure quick and transparent user access to any correspondence in an archive.
The main innovation in the package GFI MailArchiver 6 for Exchange is refusal from stubs, used by other manufacturers of systems for archiving e-mail. The refusal of such stubs helped to significantly reduce loading on the servers of Microsoft Exchange, and reduce the size work of administrating client work stations: now you can quickly extract and view archived messages without administrator. In addition to access to mail archive via Outlook, user can browse archive of his mail via the web-interface from any computer connected to the Internet.
Transferring mail from local PST files and boxes to Exchange server to a centralized archive allows small and medium enterprises to clearly meet the requirements for storage of correspondence.
