Google.com turned10 years

On Sept. 15, 1997, two 24-year-old Stanford University students Sergey Brin and Larry Page registered google.com domain. Thus began a history of the most successful Internet project, which over the past 10 years has become the heart of the Internet.
The company Google was founded a year later, on September 7, 1998, and its first office was, as you know, a garage in northern California, rented by the friends from Breenâ€™s girlfriend. Google's founders worked in this garage about 5 months.
Rumors about the new search engine, which used completely new search algorithms and classification of results, spread very quickly, and Google instantly gained popularity. In 2000, the first contextual advertising appeared on the site. Thus, Google began selling keywords, and the results contained paid links. These earnings still make up the most part of Googleâ€™s revenue. Today, the personal property of each of the founders of Google is estimated approximately $ 16 billion and the company employs approximately 14,000 staff. Google is famous by its innovative developments, which are trying to attract all staff members. It is known, that all who work for Google, may spend 20% of work time on their own ideas for business.
