Microsoft Image Composite Editor: creating panoramic images in high definition

Microsoft Research presented the product Image Composite Editor, an excellent tool for the creating panoramic images of 360 degrees viewing angle in high definition.
This editor will allow making seamless uniting and splicing series of pictures taken from a single point. Results of work can be saved into common files formats, from standard JPEG and TIFF to specific formats of HD View and Silverlight Deep Zoom.
The technologies, ICE is based on, are already familiar to users of Windows Live Photo Gallery and the newly released product Deep Zoom Composer for Silverlight. The application can boast close integration with Windows Shell and the next version of Windows Live Photo Gallery.
