OpenOffice.org 2.3: free office package

A free office package OpenOffice.org has been updated. This is perhaps one of the most famous open-source projects. This package of office applications has been used as one of the major applications for Linux systems for quite a long time, and has recently drawn attention of Windows users as well. The main programs of the package are: text editor Writer, the program for editing tables Calc and Impress, an alternative of PowerPoint. Working in OpenOffice.org, you donâ€™t necessarily have to save files in its format. If the recipients of the file, you are working on, would open it in Word or Excel, you can well work with the formats of Microsoft programs without using the Open Document format.
The latest version offers completely rewritten graphics module. Creating diagrams became simpler; added a new color palette, updated data editor. In addition, text editor Writer was added with a module that facilitates work with documents in different languages. There is a new filter of markup export MediaWiki (Wikipedia).
