As a part of the package Creative Suite 4, a new version of the most popular graphical editor in the world Photoshop CS4 was introduced. Like the previous version, Photoshop is available in two versions: Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop CS4 Extended. The latter contains all the possibilities of Photoshop CS4, plus additional funds for working with video and 3D graphics.
Innovations of Photoshop CS4 include: a new tool for quick resizing and zooming images using a mouse, enhanced modes for combining images Auto-align and Auto-blend, an improved tool to get the effect depth of field, a new navigation tool Rotate View meant to rotate the canvas and to look at it from all angles without any distortion, improved zooming and panning functions.
Photoshop CS4 also includes a new version of the program for organizing files Adobe Bridge CS4, containing some new features.
As for innovations, there is the possibility of drawing directly on the surface of 3D-models, the combination of 2D-files in 3D-images, the possibility of animation of 3D-objects and their properties. Three-dimensional engine has been completely rewritten and now provides improved performance, the opportunity to edit parameters of lighting and a more realistic visualization.
The programs Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop CS4 Extended will go on sale in October.
