ProEXR 1.1: plugin for work with OpenEXR in Photoshop and After Effects

A new version of the plugin ProEXR for Adobe Photoshop and After Effects has been release, enhancing their ability to work with the OpenEXR format. This format is an alternative to HDR. Both programs from Adobe have basic support of OpenEXR, and after installing the plugin an opportunity appears to involve such important features of the format as work with layers, saving information on the color, selecting compression options available in all latest libraries of OpenEXR. This release corrects errors found after the first version.
ProEXR for Photoshop costs $95, and plugin for After Effects is free and, in fact, has an open code. By means of the plugin users of Photoshop CS3 Extended can work with multi-layer files EXR and save them without of reducing the layers. Such files can then be opened in such programs as After Effects, Shake, Nuke and Fusion.
ProEXR is available for Mac and Windows platforms.
