RasterVect 12.6: combining formats
23rd September 2007
RasterVect is a tool for converting raster images (including those obtained from the scanner) in the following formats: DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS and AI. These types of files are used in the programs AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Microstation, VectorWorks, TrueCAD, FastCAD and others. RasterVect has a convenient interface and performs the conversion quickly and correctly.
RasterVect users should remember that for converting raster image into a vector format, it must be single-digit, i.e. black and white, with no shades of grey. If the image is of some other format, the program can automatically convert it, and then turn into a vector format. The whole process takes seconds. There is also an opportunity of back conversion from vector to raster images.
The latest version adds new tools for working with raster images.
