Stellarium 0.10.0: best way to watch the stars
30th September 2008
A new version of the free program Stellarium has come out. The program has a queer purpose and is a three-dimensional planetarium. Its interface is presented in the form of the earth landscape and the starry sky above it. The user can choose the place on the Earth, from which he wants to watch the stars, as well as the time. Of course, it is best to look at stars at night. But you can also sit up till the dawn, and then the program visualizes realistic sunrise for you, and you can watch the stars slowly disappearing from the sky. Stellarium can display names of constellations, as well as their images.
The latest version improves interface, memory, speeds up loading programs, improves visualization, fixes errors.
