Toon Boom Studio 4: animation program

Toon Boom Animation has released the fourth version of the professional program for creating 2D animation Toon Boom Studio. Toon Boom Studio provides an opportunity to create both drawn characters and to use ready-made animation elements from a built-in templates library. All elements of the project created by a user can be saved in the library for future use. There is support of popular graphics and video formats.
One of the interesting features of Toon Boom Studio is the use of virtual camera for animation. The user can work with several cameras, edit their position in the process of animation, switch between them, etc. Another convenient feature of program is automatic synchronization of movements of the characters` lips with audio files, containing their speech. The most interesting, that it does not matter what language is spoken by the characters.
Projects created in Toon Boom Studio can be saved in a variety of formats, including SWF, QuickTime, PDF, AVI. There is also support of high-definition video as well as profiles for saving animation for mobile phones, iPod, pocket PC.
The fourth version has a more user-friendly interface, improved tools for customizing frequently used workspaces, new styles to create animation on the basis of photographs and turning raster images into vector, expanded set of brushes, Adobe Illustrator layers, full support of Tablet PC OS (XP and Vista).
