ABBYY FineReader 9.0: new version of the text-recognizing program

A new, ninth, version of ABBYY FineReader has come out, a program for recognizing documents and PDF files . Among the features of the latest version there is a substantially revised interface and the introduction of new technologies for the analysis and recognition of a document as a single integrated object.
ABBYY has elaborated several typical sceneries of docs` processing for users of different skills. A user can select one of them. On the other hand, those who work with the program professionally will be able to access additional settings.
ABBYY FineReader 9.0 is based on the ADRT technology, which performs a selection, comparison and search for fitnesses of such elements of logical structure of the document as footnotes, signature to images and diagrams, styles, fonts, numbered pages. Due to this the document is analyzed as a single object.
ABBYY FineReader 9.0 will be sold in two versions: Professional Edition and Corporate Edition. The first version is addressed to individual users, and the second is a business solution. The program will go on sale this month.
