ACD Systems Announces ACDSee Photo Manager 2009
13th October 2008
The company ACD Systems presented a new version of ACDSee Photo Manager 2009, a comprehensive set of tools for working with digital images.
The package includes tools for organizing and storing images, as well as for their viewing and editing.
Photographers will be able to frame edited pictures, to apply special effects, upload results of their work to online photo-archives (such as flickr), as well as to create colorful slide shows.
Version ACDSee Photo Manager 2009 offers a range of improved and new features. For example, the application automatically saves the original image at the first file opening and protects it against accidental modification. At any stage in the editing process, users can cancel changes made and return to the original image.
The new import tools will allow renaming images, making backups, distributing by categories and adding key words in the process of extracting data from your camera, memory card, CD / DVD or any other media.
ACDSee users are also sure to like an opportunity to combine metadata created by the camera (IPTC and EXIF) with their own metadata (ratings, categories, etc.).
