Adobe introduced new version of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements

Adobe Systems has announced new versions of program packages Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements designed to work with digital photos and video, respectively.
The package Photoshop Elements 6, compared to the previous versions of the program, offers a large number of improvements and innovations. The developers, in particular, provide Photomerge toolset designed for pictures combining and improved means of converting images, allowing you to turn colored image into a black-and-white one. Quick Selection Tool can simplify the process of selecting needed areas of the image. Editing images can be done in one of three modes, each of which is addressed to users of certain experience and skills. For example, the Guided Edit mode is meant for the beginners.
As for Adobe Premiere Elements 4, it now offers a number of improvements that will accelerate the process of video-editing. Users will be bale to assemble different pieces into a single video in practically no time, adding background music, as well as audio and visual effects. The resulting film can then be recorded on optical media. Much attention is paid to sharing videos. Files can be uploaded to memory of portable devices, to sites on the Internet, and so forth.
The products Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4 are meant for running under Windows. The packages can be purchased separately for $ 100, or together for $150.
