Android Is Getting Into The Mio Mibuddy Navigation Device

Mio Technology will be launching a new version of the MiBuddy 4.7 inch touch-screen Internet as well as the navigation device in the coming year running the Android mobile software of Google as was told by a company representative on Tuesday.
The next generation MiBuddy would be a device of mobile Internet navigation, that will have Internet browsing and a keypad too, which slides out from underside for the purpose of real touch typing.
The MiBuddy has its aim to fulfill a few roles. It also fits on a car dashboard mount so that it can perform the functions needed for a car GPS navigation device, it is also made to in a way that can be carried around as personal navigation device and also used for a browsing of the Internet on a screen bigger than most of the smartphones, the representative of the company said.
The current version of MiBuddys uses exclusively the Microsoft's Windows CE OS. Windows CE will be continually offered for next generation MiBuddys which is coming out during the next year, in addition to the Android.
MiBuddy can work with many wireless technologies, and includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth too, and it contains a built in microphone, speaker and a media player also. The next generation MiBuddys would also be offered with the WiMax wireless broadband.
