AntiVir Personal Edition 8.2: free protection

A new version of the free anti-virus package AntiVir Personal Edition has come out.
Despite its free status, the program offers a full range of features related to detecting and removing malicious modules. The program has the special Internet-Update Wizard for easier updating antivirus databases. Another interesting feature of the program is the module Virus Guard, which tracks the movement of files downloaded from the Internet and other suspicious objects. Thanks to its heuristic scanning, AntiVir Personal Edition can protect your PC from previously unknown macro viruses. The program can be used free of charge only for non-commercial purposes.
The latest version updates the program`s engine; improves recognition of many types of malicious programs.
