The company Apple has applied for registering their new patent, describing a new way of presenting history of visited pages. The manufacturer of Safari is going to patent a newgraphical presentation of history, showing history of browsing in a tree-like structure, which allows users to see relationships between pages. The tree of visited pages will be combined with a temporary scale to help you remember when you visited a particular site. If pages’ urls were typed manually, they will be at the top of the hierarchical dependence, and pages visited by a user through links will be placed below and connected to root sites by means of lines.
Since such a presentation can result into a very large tree, Apple offers special opportunities of scaling the tree.
It is possible that the new presentation of the history of visited pages will appear in the fourth version of Safari.
